The process of creating my acrylic art work begins when the image is printed on Fujiflex Crystal Archive Printing Material. This ultra-high-gloss, archival print is then carefully coated with an optically pure UV protective adhesive to help maximize my art work’s longevity. A lens grade .25 inch acrylic sheet is cut to size and the edges are carefully polished. The print and the acrylic are then expertly bonded using controlled yet significant pressure, ensuring the two become a beautiful and unified presentation. An 1/8″ Aluminum Composite DiBond backer is used to ensure maximum contrast by blocking extraneous back-lighting and giving the print extra support and rigidity. A metal box-cleat frame comes standard and floats the print 1/2″ from the wall, while keeping the presentation flat.
